About the course
Set amongst the vistas of Fountain Hills, Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a variety of elevation changes with stunning canyon views. The desert-style course mixes a handful of tight doglegs with open fairways to swing away at. Keep an eye on the course map, as a few sneaky water hazards can catch your group off guard. Fountain Hills is also home to a fountain that can reach 560 feet, once the tallest in the world, and it can be seen from much of the course.
The family-owned course maxes out just under 6,500 yards, so accuracy off the tee is critical to scoring well. Known as Fountain Hills Golf Club from its opening in 1971 until 1998, this public course designed by John Allen remains a favorite in the Phoenix area. Stop by the clubhouse after your round for nightly specials including Taco Tuesday, Fish Fry Friday and frequent live music.
“A hidden gem with some awesome holes and great views throughout the round.”
