Why groups stay at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort
Two top-ranked courses next door. Golfweek ranks Saguaro the No. 1 course you can play in Arizona and Cholla No. 11 (2025), and both are under a mile from the lobby.
The 19th hole is a casino. A 166,000 square foot casino with more than 900 slots, plus the WKP Sportsbook and its 47-foot LED wall for game day.
Rooms built around golf. Golfer Junior Suites give a foursome room to spread out, and we arrange transport to the first tee.
A true desert escape. Big Sonoran Desert views, no city noise, and Eagle Mountain Golf Club about 12 minutes away.
About the resort
We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort is owned by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, the same community that owns We-Ko-Pa Golf Club. The resort sits under a mile from the club, so groups can play Saguaro and Cholla without a long drive.
Golf Digest ranks Saguaro No. 20 and Cholla No. 33 on its 2025-26 list of the best public courses in the country. Back at the resort, the casino, WKP Sportsbook, Desert Oasis Pool, Amethyst Spa and Ember steakhouse cover every hour off the course. Sky Harbor is about 25 minutes away and Old Town Scottsdale about 28.
