About the course
Longbow Golf Club is a premier public course in Mesa, designed by Ken Kavanaugh. The par-71 layout stretches over 7,000 yards and delivers a true desert golf experience, framed by emerald fairways, striking bunkers and panoramic views of the Superstition Mountains.
Originally opened in 1997 and fully renovated in 2003 by its original architect, Longbow has earned its reputation as one of Arizona's must-play public courses. The redesign expanded the fairways, lengthened the layout and added a southwestern-style clubhouse. A perennial Golfweek honoree, Longbow has hosted professional tour events and remains one of the best values in the greater Scottsdale and Phoenix area.
“The layout of this magnificent course is set off by striking bunkers against the backdrop of the Superstition Mountains. Its beauty is only surpassed by the architect's desire to blend playability and the unwavering topography of the rugged southwest landscape.”
